Adult Bible Fellowships
Do you sometimes find it hard to feel connected or at home at a church? Do you feel like you’re just filling a seat on Sunday mornings, but no one seems to care that you are there? Would you like to study God’s Word and fellowship with other people just like you? Grace Church Adult Bible Fellowships are for you!
The name says it all … Adult Bible Fellowships are for adults, and we have an ABF just for you. Maybe you’d like one with people your own age. We’ve got an ABF for you whether you’re 20 or 80! Maybe you’d like to get to know other people who are in the same family circumstance or season of life as you are. We have an ABF for you whether you’re raising babies or playing with grandkids! Maybe you just want to fellowship with other women. We even have an ABF that’s Just For Women!
Purpose
Adult Bible Fellowships are about studying God’s Word. Teaching God’s Word is a part of our mission at Grace Church. So every Sunday morning the Grace Church ABF’s study God’s Word together. But a teacher won’t just lecture to you. You’ll mine the riches of God’s Word together as a teacher leads you with many different teaching methods. Plus you’ll have the opportunity to discuss and share with others.
Adult Bible Fellowships are about fellowship with other people. But our ABF’s provide much more than just a cup of coffee and a donut. Part of our vision is for Grace Church to be a family of believers that fosters a sense of belonging. Our ABF’s are a great place to get connected, to feel like a part of the Grace Church family. You’ll get to meet new people, and have the opportunity to build long-lasting relationships. You’ll have the opportunity to share life and its ups and downs with other people. Prayer is an important part of our ABF’s too. You’ll have the opportunity to pray for others, and people will pray for you too!
So if you feel like Grace Church is a big place and you don’t know anyone and no one knows you, visit an ABF next Sunday! It’s a great place to get connected!
K-Groups
“… a place where everybody knows your name.” That famous line from the hit TV show “Cheers” best describes Grace Church K-Groups.
The ‘K’ in K-Groups stands for the Greek word koinonia, which means fellowship. But fellowship in a K-Group is about much more than sharing a cup of coffee and a piece of cake and talking about the last Cowboys game. K-Groups are small fellowship groups where other people will invest their lives in yours, and you’ll have the opportunity to invest in their lives as well. You’ll both reap countless blessings and benefits from genuine, authentic, and long-lasting relationships. And building authentic personal relationships is one of our primary values at Grace Church.
Purpose
At Grace Church we want to foster a sense of belonging among our family of believers through relational support, and assimilate every member into the life of our church. K-Groups are a great way to do that. We offer a variety of K-Groups which meet in individuals’ homes twice a month.
In a K-Group you’ll also interact with God’s Word and how it applies to your life. You’ll pray for others, and they’ll pray for you as you walk through life, sharing its ups and downs, its joys and heartbreaks, and its every day struggles. You’ll laugh and cry together with other people who will share life with you … people who want to know more than just your name, people who will ask how you are and then are truly interested in your answer.
So if you desire to build some deep relationships, or if you simply want to meet some new people, try a K-Group. It’s a great way to get connected at Grace Church!
