Saturday, June 19, 8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at the Loving Christian Maternity Home
Lend a helping hand at the Maternity Home. We’ll paint, do some minor carpentry repairs, haul off debris, and do yard work. There’s something for everyone to do…all ages, all skill levels. Refreshments will be provided. The Maternity Home is located at 4011 Seymour Highway. Contact Leah Walker at leah@gracechurch.com for more information.

There will be a Town Hall Meeting at Grace Church next Sunday (6/6) at 4:00 PM to discuss changes in how we are packaging our ministry. Childcare will be available up through the 4th grade.

“Man Time – Facing our Giants” begins Tuesday, June 8 from 6:00-7:30 AM in the Tejas Room. This is a 5 week study encouraging men to face the giants that typically rob them of their impact. Sign up today in the Main Hall.

Our Children’s Ministry has two events coming up this summer. Don’t forget to sign up for Family VBS (June 14-16, ages 4-2nd grade) or Summer Retreat (July 25-28, 3rd-4th grade).

The K-Group Picnic is tonight, May 2, from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Weeks Park Pavilion. This is for all K-Group participants, and childcare is provided at Stone Lake.

Infant Dedication is next Sunday, May 9. Contact the church office by noon tomorrow (May 3) if you would like to participate.

Also next Sunday, Leila and Joy George will be speaking on behalf of Asian Christian Academy in India. This training facility is part of our global outreach. You may hear their report during the Second Block in the Mesquite Room.

There will be a potluck dinner on May 16 at 5:30 for anyone who would like to hear a report from our group who recently visited Israel. This is a churchwide event, and childcare will be available for kids through the 4th grade. Sign up in the Main Hall.

Graduates in our church family will be honored on Sunday morning, May 23. If you would like your graduate to be included, e-mail a photo with their name, name of school, and future plans to ruth@gracechurch.com by Monday, May 10.

Quack! Quack! Due to rain, we are rescheduling the Grace In Action Workday at the Loving Christian Maternity Home. Most of the work we were going to do today was outside at the Maternity Home. We’ll let you know as soon as we schedule a new date. Thank You, Lord, for the rain!
