Purpose
In the Stone Lake Kids program, our number one goal is to see each child come to know Jesus Christ as personal Savior. This goal is pursued by teaching biblical truth in a warm and loving environment.
Our ministry model of personal discipleship means that we will always seek to provide children a relationship with mature, caring adults in a small group setting. We see our role as trusted assistants in helping parents.
Programs
- Keystone Kids Block 1: Sundays, 9:00-10:15 AM
- Keystone Kids Block 2: Sundays, 10:30-11:45 AM
- Kids Quest: Wednesdays, 6:30-8:00 PM
Keystone Kids
Keystone Kids is the elementary ministry for 1st-4th graders at Grace Church. We provide an opportunity for your child to learn about what it means to have Jesus Christ as the central piece of their life. This Sunday morning program starts off with a children’s worship service in the children’s indoor playground area, and is followed by teaching time. Keystone Kids uses a different curriculum for each of our Sunday morning blocks of time.
Block One, 9:00 am
Each lesson is Bible-based and designed to impact every child in the class. Most importantly, these lessons focus on helping children apply what they learn to their lives.
Block Two, 10:30 am
Each lesson is designed to reach children right where they are. These lessons help children learn about God and His word through fun discovery learning and creative activities.
Kids Quest
Kids Quest meetings are held on Wednesday evenings with a high-energy game time, small group learning time, and a large group teaching time with a Bible message, scripture memory and singing for children from age 4-4th grade. “Searchers” is for children in 1st-2nd grade. Children in 3rd-4th grades are apart of the “Questers” group.
Kids Quest curriculum is designed to help children to develop a Biblical worldview, emphasizing not only “what the right answers are,” but WHY they are the right answers. Children who participate in the ministries of Kids Quest are challenged not only to know what they believe, but WHY they believe it. In short, we try to teach the children to think critically in the light of the Truth of God’s Word.
There is not cost for participating in Kids Quest at Grace Church. Our desire is that all kids come to learn God’s truth, grow in relationships, and have fun.
