Curtis Lindsey, Senior High Pastor

There are two girls in my life: my wife of five years Jennifer and my baby daughter, Grace (she was born on November 13, 2011). I like to read books, watch sports, play fantasy football, write blogs, and drink coffee. I try not to let a few pieces of paper hanging on my office wall (Th.M., Dallas Theological Seminary and B.B.A., Texas A&M) go to my head. I’d rather eat cheap oven pizzas than anything else on the planet and may or may not be addicted to crime dramas. And I get paid to encourage high school students in their spiritual walk with Jesus Christ because I’m the Senior High Pastor at Grace. That’s a great gig in my book.

Sam Underwood: Senior High Intern
Sam works as a high school intern and music director and also leads a double life as a yodeler in the Swiss Alps. Currently, he is a student of English and philosophy at Midwestern, evidencing his lack of any intention to secure employment following graduation. However, Sam hopes to use to his advantage the stereotype that there are no jobs for philosophy students in order to pursue graduate study in the subject relatively unopposed by family and friends, who have accepted the fact that he is just an impractical fellow. In the mean time, he will sing songs and hang out with high school students.
John Tucker: Senior High Intern
John is a third-year student at MSU majoring in history and sociology with intentions of pursuing a teaching profession. He loves hanging out with the students, working the sound booth (mostly goofing around while the band practices) and watching cheesy movies that went straight to television. John reads a lot and is somewhat of a history fanatic. He loves to go hiking and camping whenever the weather permits (can you say “granola”?), and is looking forward to this coming school year and hanging out with the students.
Marki Dobson: Senior High Intern
Marki is starting her junior year of college at Midwestern State University majoring in sociology and psychology. She is interested in being involved in mission work of some sort either after graduation or even next summer. Marki lives in a house with two of her very best friends, and enjoys spending quality time with her family. She loves to dance, play sports, and participate in a lot of outdoor activities. She loves building relationships with the high school girls and spends all the time she can with them because they teach her just as much as she teaches them!
Miranda Schroeder: Senior High Intern
Miranda is an EC-6 education major at Midwestern State University and will begin her internship in August 2011. She’s very much a people person and loves hanging out with friends. She loves being active and is most likely to be found at the Wellness Center playing volleyball. Her favorite place to relax and have fun is at Lake Nocona with her friends and family. Miranda is looking forward to being a high school intern and can’t wait to see the spiritual growth that comes through working with students!
