The Grace In Action Workday at the Loving Christian Maternity Home has been re-scheduled for Saturday, June 19, from 8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. We’ll do yard work, clean up debris, paint, do some minor carpentry repairs, and clean house. Refreshments will be provided, so we also need people to provide food. The Maternity Home is located at 4011 Seymour Highway. Everyone is invited–-all ages, skilled or unskilled. In light of the devastation in Haiti, we encourage anyone who wants to make a financial donation to make it through the Salvation Army. The Salvation Army is currently providing resources and relief to the people in Haiti. You can make a donation by going to www.salvationarmy.com.

The annual Jr. High Christmas party will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 16th, from 6:30-8:00 P.M., in the Tejas room on the second floor of the main church building.  This event will take the place of the regularly  scheduled youth activities.  We will be having a White Elephant Gift Exchange.  There will be separate gift exchanges for girls and boys, so girls need to bring a girl gift and boys need to bring a boys gift.  We ask that the gift be $10 or less and appropriate.  Please have your student bring a gift that somebody would want so no feelings get hurt.  Thanks.
