Good Friday Celebration of the Passover

Friday, April 2, 6:00-9:00 PM

Dr. Ron Allen will lead us in the celebration of the biblical feast of Passover. We will follow the same pattern that was celebrated by our Lord and His disciples throughout their lives. Our Seder will be done in a traditional manner with lamb, but will be done with a decidedly Christian point of view.

Because our celebration will last approximately three hours with a significant portion devoted to teaching, it will be limited to those of junior high age and up. There will be no childcare, except for infants. Please indicate your need when you sign up.

Men will be required to wear a “skull cap” or yarmulke, which we will provide. Although there is no charge to attend, if you would like to help underwrite the expense of the evening, please designate your check “Passover.” Signups begin in the Main Hall this Sunday, March 7.

Weekly Update: March 7-13, 2010

Grace Church will lend a helping hand on April 17, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM, by doing yard work and minor repairs at the Loving Christian Maternity Home. There are jobs for everyone. Signups start next week in the Main Hall, contact Leah Walker for more information.

The 2010 Men’s Retreat comes the following weekend, April 23-25. Mark your calendar now!
