Service Projects
Opportunities for our church family to work together and meet real local needs
Welcome
As part of our mission to raise up mature disciples of Jesus Christ, we hope you will be equipped to impact others as you go about your daily life. We believe each day really does offer individual opportunities to love your neighbors. However, there is also something special about working alongside someone else. Throughout the year, we provide ways for our church family to make a larger collective impact on our community. We believe these projects not only “seek the welfare of our city” (see Jeremiah 29:7) but also strengthen our individual faith as we serve.
Ready to Get Involved?
You’ll hear us announce projects as they come up throughout the year. Each time, you’ll have a few weeks to consider how you’ll participate then sign up online. Check out what’s coming up next, or read on for a list of everything that comes up during the year.

Serve at the Food Bank: First ShiftWichita Falls Area Food Bank - 1230 Midwestern Pkwy, Wichita Falls, TX 76302, USA
After the Food Bank’s biggest donation drive of the year, they face the monumental task of inspecting, cleaning, and organizing all the food that was given. By working together, we can help them with this costly task and free up their resources to be used in other ways like mobile pantries, the Produce Express, and children’s programs. Anyone ages 8 and up can participate! Closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing that covers the shoulders are required for all volunteers.
Seasonal Projects
Meals of Hope
Help us sort and assemble pallets of dry ingredients into ready-to-cook bagged meals for local families. Together, we prepare enough food for thousands of local people to eat a balanced, protein-rich dinner. The completed meals are then distributed to our community by the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank, one of our ministry partners. This project is suitable for all ages — everyone is invited to help out!
Thanksgiving Outreach
Every fall, our church family turns their own thankfulness into a demonstration of Christ’s love for our community. There are two ways to serve each year, allowing anyone to get involved! First, you can pick up an empty grocery bag and a shopping list to take to the store, fill with all the food needed to prepare a Thanksgiving meal, and return to the church. Second, you can drive your vehicle (take some friends along!) on the Saturday before Thanksgiving to help deliver these bags, meeting face to face with the local families who need them.
Operation
Christmas Child
Just in time for Christmas, we partner with the Samaritan’s Purse organization as they deliver joy, one box at a time. You’ll be invited to pick up an Operation Christmas Child shoebox, fill it with a mix of fun gifts and necessities for a child in need. Boxes will be collected, transported to a central collection site, and eventually delivered around the world with the message of Jesus’ love. Families can also choose to track their box to its ultimate destination, helping families build a sense of compassion toward children in different cultures.
Meet the Team
Our staff are happy to answer any questions you may have about serving, explore what opportunities are available, and guide you toward getting involved.
